05/27/10: CDG is pleased to announce that Shawn Benson, P.E., LEED AP will be joining our Chicago office. Shawn brings a wealth of production and design experience to CDG, along with intense dedication to his clients, and a keen eye for project details. When asked about the Benson pick-up, CDG Partner Austin Hahn said, “Oh yeah. The hiring of Benson is absolutely critical. Shawn provides CDG with a much deeper resume in the military and federal market segments and strengthens our already impressive residential and commercial presence.  It’s a great fit - for everyone.”

11/01/2009: CaliChi’s own Austin Hahn provided historical pictures, and wrote the first draft of the USGBC Greenbuild 2010 video that was presented to over 25,000 USGBC members at the USGBC Greenbuild 2010 National Conference.  Greenbuild was launched in 2002 and is the worlds largest conference and expo dedicated to green building.

10/25/09: Austin has been elected Treasurer of the Illinois Section of ASCE Urban Planning and Development Group.

10/19/2009: CaliChi attended the 2009 ICSC Chicago Deal Making conference October 29-30, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.  

10/03/2009: We are now registered as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and an Emerging Small Business Enterprise (ESBE) in the State of Illinois and the US Federal Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) programs.

07/29/2009: CaliChi is licensed to practice Professional Engineering in the state of Florida.

07/16/2009: CaliChi Design Group is now capable of using AutoCAD Civil 3D on all projects.

07/15/2009: CaliChi Design Group is proud to be a corporate member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

07/07/2009: CaliChi Design Group, a limited liability corporation is pleased to announce the launch of our new web site. CaliChi currently has Professional Engineering Licenses in the states of California, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa and Missouri. CaliChi has an active NCEES license that allows the firm to gain registration in additional states, on an as-needed basis, within 45 days of application.  Let us know where your next project is taking you.
